Fundraising for new classrooms is in full swing!
The board has attended several inspiring events.

184 Scholarships Granted
Just like last year, the Share Ghana foundation has again provided funding to grant scholarships to children in Sumbrungu, Northern Ghana. As before, 184 children received new uniforms, a pair of shoes, and a backpack with necessary notebooks. In Mrs. Janet’s workshop, it was all hands on deck. The ladies worked tirelessly on sewing the uniforms. After a year, the old uniforms were in need of replacement. Having a second uniform means that while the new one is being washed, the old one can be used shortly until the new one is clean.
Three Classrooms for Zaarantiga
Recently, we have been in discussions with representatives of a school in Zaarantiga. Currently, the school has 500 students but only three classrooms. We are exploring the possibility of expanding to six classrooms.
A budget has been drawn up in three phases. We are currently fundraising for Phase 1, but the project will only begin once we have visibility on funding for all phases. Project plans are being written from various sides, requests are being submitted, and a good amount has already been raised for the first phase. We will keep you updated on the progress of this project.

Activities this year
Behind the scenes, a lot is happening. In September, Noetie and Dian attended a meeting of Climbing the Right Tree, the partner organization responsible for collecting and shipping hardware. On that day, a car full of materials was also delivered. Noetie and Dian were able to make valuable contacts.
In Ghana, connections were made with the Ghanaian organization Maxim Nyansa, which can handle the delivery of hardware and support schools in ICT. We are exploring whether our two schools in Bolgatanga can participate in their educational support programs.
At the end of September, Ad and Lotte attended a meeting of Wilde Ganzen in Amersfoort. This day was specifically organized for Ghanaian organizations and focused on exchanging information and strengthening your position. Hopefully, we will be able to submit a project proposal before the end of the year.
At the beginning of October, we were guests at the Protestant Church in Kerkdriel. During the service, we shared information about the foundation and a collection was held for Share Ghana.

Hardware Collection Point
The collection point for the foundation Climbing the Right Tree is in full swing. We are collecting all kinds of hardware to use in Ghana, including laptops, computers, monitors, printers, headphones, tablets, and phones. Items are assessed for usability and repaired if necessary.
If you have items to donate, or know of a school or company replacing equipment, we would be happy to get in touch.
